Track Any Package, Cargo, and Shipping with Universal Tracking
After shopping online, want to know where your package is and track shipping status? Our universal package tracking website and mobile app automatically checks your tracking number across all postal services, couriers, and logistics companies, saving you time from manually searching multiple tracking websites.
To track your package location and check shipping status, you simply need the tracking number or waybill number.
What is a Package Tracking Number?
A tracking number (also called tracking code or universal tracking number) is a unique identifier assigned to each parcel that lets you track package movement between countries and even domestically. Use our tracking number lookup system to monitor any shipment.
Your tracking number may be international or limited to tracking within the sender's country. The Universal Postal Union uses tracking number formats like RA123456789CN - the first two letters indicate package type while the last two show country of origin. Parcels with these numbers can be tracked through delivery using our universal parcel tracking system.
Other shipments may use different tracking number formats through various logistics and shipping companies, like CTAFT0000160477YQ, UPAAB000000251682107, AEL10105033654UA, or SGADN143797855. Note that some packages may not be trackable in the destination country until you receive postal or courier notification.
Here’s a breakdown of common tracking number formats:
- UPS: Tracking numbers start with "1Z" and are 18 characters long, providing detailed updates.
- FedEx: Usually 12 digits, allowing you to track both Express and Ground shipments.
- USPS: Ranges from 20-22 digits, covering all domestic shipments within the United States.
- DHL: Often 10-11 digits, may include prefixes like "JD" to indicate specific services.
- Canada Post: Usually 16 digits, starting with a combination of letters and ending with "CA" identifying the country of origin and destination.
How to Find Your Tracking Number?
- Shipping Confirmation Email: Usually sent right after your order has shipped, containing your tracking number.
- Shipping Label or Receipt: If you received a physical shipment, the tracking number will be on the label or receipt.
- Carrier’s Customer Service: If you can’t find the tracking number, reaching out to the carrier directly can often resolve the issue.
How to Track Online Store Orders?
First, wait for your order details and shipping tracking number. When preparing your purchase for shipping, sellers obtain a tracking number, and you can begin tracking package status within 1-5 days after handover to shipping services using our universal package tracker.
Remember, you can only track packages with a valid tracking number. While many try to track package with order number, these are different identifiers - you typically cannot use an order number for package tracking (ASOS orders being an exception in our system).
Package Not Tracking?
Don't panic if you can't track your package immediately after receiving the tracking number. Postal and courier services need time to process parcels, weigh them, prepare customs documents, sort packages and forward them along routes. Consider following up after 7 days of no tracking updates, as the seller may have only reserved a number without shipping.
Pro Tips for Efficient Package Tracking
As soon as you receive your tracking number, start monitoring your package. Early tracking allows you to spot any potential issues early on, such as delays or incorrect routing. This can be especially important for time-sensitive deliveries.
Understanding Delivery Statuses
Tracking statuses can sometimes be confusing. Here’s a quick guide to some common ones:
Tracking Status | Status Description |
---|---|
In Transit | Your package is moving between locations or is in the process of being delivered. |
Out for Delivery | Your package is on its way to your address and should be delivered soon. |
Delivered | Your package has been successfully delivered to the recipient. |
Exception | There was an issue with your delivery, such as an incorrect address or failed delivery attempt. |
